Heathgate Speaks

With consumer demand for electricity expected to double between now and the middle of the 21st century, nuclear energy represents the only way to produce significant amounts of base load power without contributing to global warming by increasing greenhouse gas emissions.

Already, 17 percent of the world's electricity is generated by nuclear power stations.

Against this background, the Beverley uranium project in the far north of South Australia can play a valuable role in meeting demand for uranium for nuclear fuel in the next century.

Heathgate Resources is committed to developing Beverley as a model In Situ Leach mine. It will be a project with a low environmental impact and one that will produce benefits for the world through the supply of uranium for peaceful purposes and for South Australia through investment, employment and royalty income.
